Introduction

This privacy policy aims to inform you about what information Creditro process about you and what your rights are in this regard. We therefore encourage you to read the policy and familiarise yourself with the processing. The policy is aimed at individuals who are created as users in Creditro's systems or who contact Creditro unsolicited.

Creditro are the data controller for your personal data in the processing operations you find in this policy, and we process them in accordance with the applicable personal data legislation at any given time, including within the framework described in this policy.

What information do we collect and process, and from what sources?

  • When visiting the website: IP address, name, e-mail, job title, telephone number, employer. The information comes from the registered person themselves or is generated internally.
  • As a user on app.creditro.com: Name, e-mail address, employer. The information comes from the registered person themselves or the registered person's employer.
  • Behaviour and functionality: Name, e-mail address, employer, IP address. The information comes from the registered person themselves and internal generation of information.
  • Upon customer inquiry (chat, e-mail, physical or telephone): Name, e-mail address, telephone number, and other information provided in connection with the inquiry. The information comes from the registered person themselves.
  • For newsletters and competitions: Name, e-mail address, employer, and telephone number (for competitions). The information comes from the registered person themselves.

For what purpose do we process personal data?

  • Visiting the website: To improve the website visitor's experience and follow up with relevant material (tracks your movement, provided you have given cookie consent).
  • User on app.creditro.com: To create a profile, including being able to recognise and verify users on our platform so that the intended purpose of the access can be completed.
  • Behaviour and Functionality: Behaviour on the platform such as dead links or missing functions is monitored to continuously improve the platform and ensure functionality.
  • Customer inquiry: To be able to support or inform in connection with the inquiry for support, sales, or complaints.
  • Newsletter and marketing: To send marketing material if marketing consent has been given for this. To document valid marketing consent.
  • Competitions: To send information about the outcome of the competition, as well as its content. To contact with information and marketing material by telephone.
  • Statistics: To be able to improve the customer experience in our business and online, to improve our business, and to be able to assess performance on our channels and products. We anonymise or delete personal data as soon as they are no longer relevant for the statistics.

Performance of a contract or measures taken prior to entering into a contract, as referred to in Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR

Some personal data is processed in connection with measures taken at your request, prior to entering into a legally binding contract with you. For example, when you apply for a job at Creditro. Here, the processing of your CV, application and reference information will be necessary for Creditro to process applications before entering into an employment contract.

In some cases, Creditro also processes personal data in accordance with Article 6(b) of the GDPR when we receive enquiries from potential customers and in this context need to process data prior to entering into a legally binding contract.

Creditro may also process your personal data on the basis of your consent if you have given such consent in connection with, for example, the use of cookies and other tracking tools, subscription to newsletters or in connection with other enquiries. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR

Creditro has a legitimate interest in processing your personal data when it is processed for security, support and improvement purposes, or when you act as a customer contact/lead for our existing customers, including in connection with customer support.

When you interact with Creditro, for example, by visiting Creditro websites, downloading reports, e-books, participating in webinars or as part of using Creditro services, Creditro will process your personal data based on our legitimate interest.

Creditro uses your personal data to deliver relevant content to you through direct marketing on social media platforms, e-mails, websites or through an Creditro service based on your preferences. This is done through technologies such as cookies and is called profiling. Creditro will also be able to combine this information with any existing customer relationship that Creditro may have with your company.

The legitimate interest in this context is to provide you with accurate content, be able to register participants, conduct marketing and manage your requests.

Disclosure of your data

As a general rule, there is no disclosure of your personal data in connection with website visits, behaviour/functionality, customer inquiries, newsletters, or competitions. The exception is when you are a user on app.creditro.com: Here, information is disclosed on the data subject's instructions to parties specified by the data subject.

How long do we keep your data?

  • Website visit: 24 months after the last visit.
  • User on app.creditro.com: 12 months after the termination of the main agreement.
  • Behaviour and Functionality: 12 months after the expiration of the main agreement.
  • Customer inquiry: Deleted after 24 months from the inquiry or the termination of the main agreement.
  • Newsletter and Competitions: Deleted after 24 months when the marketing consent has not been used for 12 months.

  • Right of access: You have the right to know what personal data we process about you, as well as receive a range of information about the processing.
  • Right to rectification: You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.
  • Right to erasure: In some cases, you have the right to have information about you deleted before the time of our stipulated deletion deadline.
  • Right to restrict processing: You have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted.
  • Right to object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
  • Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to have this personal data transferred from one data controller to another.
  • Right not to be subject to an automated decision: You have the right not to be subject to an automated decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
  • Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet): You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency if you disagree with our processing of your personal data.
