How do you handle PEP screening and where does the data come from?
We conduct daily PEP screenings against the available PEP lists worldwide.
If a potential match is identified, two actions are triggered simultaneously:
1. An email notification is automatically sent to the responsible case manager for the case in which the matched individual appears.
2. The case is flagged under "Risk Profile" to indicate that a potential match has been found.
The responsible case manager must then review the potential match and make a decision.
